Lynda Hill is currently the Artistic Director of Theatre Direct, an established theatre for young people in Toronto/Canada.

As a freelance theatre artist, Lynda has created and directed numerous original works for the Canadian theatre in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and New York. She has a strong interest in cross-cultural and Aboriginal theatre and has taught and directed works exploring the cultural diversity of Canada.

While at Solitude, Lynda created an outdoor performance entitle “Autumn Melancholia” and collaborated with designer Cary Gayler in the installation and performance work “No Place Like Home.”
