Martin Wittwer

Born 1969 in Lausanne/Switzerland.

Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Düsseldorf. Works as an artist, since 1997 in collaboration with Dagmar Keller.

Selected solo exhibitions: “Say Hello to Peace and Tranquility” (Argos Centre for Audiovisual Arts, Brussels, 2002), “More to come” (Fiedler Contemporary, Cologne, 2003). Selected group exhibitions: “Transmediale” (Berlin, 2002), “Streams of Encounter” (Taipei Fine Arts Museum, Taiwan, 2003), “re:view” (Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Zurich, 2003), “Drawn by reality-encapsulated in Life” (Wood Street Galleries, Pittsburg, PA/USA, 2004).

They received a working grant from the Edith Russ House for Media Arts, Oldenburg and project funding for “re:view” in the video and film competition of the Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Zurich (2001).
