Miriam Humm

Miriam Humm runs an independent design practice based in Berlin, working in various collaborative constellations within the cultural sector. Her work has been showcased at It’s a Book in Leipzig, INTL International in Glasgow/United Kingdom, and the 29th Biennale Internationale de Design Graphique in Chaumont/France, and was nominated for the Weltformat Newcomer Award in Lucerne/Switzerland.

She graduated in 2023 with an MFA in Digital Graphics from the Klasse
Digitale Grafik at HFBK Hamburg, which included an Erasmus exchange at the EKA Graphic Design MA program in Tallinn/Estland. Previously, she earned a BA in Communication Design from Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, with a focus on typography, editorial, and information design. In 2016, she spent a semester at KASK Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent/Belgium, specializing in publishing and visual identity.

Miriam Humm is a 2025 fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude in the Digital Sphere of Practice.

She is based in Berlin/Germany.
