Mohannad Azzam is an Egyptian choreographer, performer, and dance teacher. His artistic journey began with five years of kung fu, followed by three years of capoeira, which sparked his interest in movement, rhythm, and embodied expression. This curiosity led him to explore acting, clowning, and storytelling through various workshops, expanding his creative language. Using the body and movement as his primary media, Azzam investigates their sociopolitical dimensions and how dance can function as a form of resistance, communication, and presence.

While developing and presenting his own projects, he continues to grow through workshops, dance intensives, and artistic residencies in Egypt, France, and Germany. His work is rooted in physical exploration and seeks to bridge movement and meaning, engaging with interdisciplinary practices and evolving forms of expression.
