Born 1978 in Dhaka/Bangladesh.

Nabil Ahmed studied philosophy and religious studies at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC/USA. In 2010, he finished his Masters degree in Media Art and Critical Theory from Goldsmiths College, University of London in London/UK. Since 2011 he has been a member of the roundtable at the Centre for Research Architecture at Goldsmiths College.

Selected projects: His work has been presented and published internationally at the Taipei Biennale in Taipei/China (2012), Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin/Germany (2013), Centre for Possible Studies Serpentine Gallery in London (2011), South Asian Visual Arts Centre (SAVAC) in Toronto/Canada (2011) and in Third Text magazine (2012).

Nabil Ahmed is co-founder of Call & Response, a sound art collective and curatorial project serving as a focus for sound arts practice in London. He teaches in Visual Culture at the Centre for Research Architecture at Goldsmiths College.
