Born 1979 in Hamburg/Germany, lives and works in Berlin.

Ole Aselmann studied at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee with Prof. Karin Sander, at the Akademie der Künste München (Munich/Germany) with Prof. Olaf Metzel and at the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London/United Kingdom.

He has been a fellow of the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes (German National Academic Foundation) since 2006. In 2008, he was given the Stipendium Junge Kunst in Essen/Germany.

Selected projects: walking-tour London – Beijing: start June 2009 from Berlin, »Winter Break – Combining the Works« at Akademie Schloss Solitude from fall 2009, continuation of the tour planned for April 1, 2010; »Messias Wirtshaus I-III«, installations and performance; »Cafeteriahyperästhesia I-III«, installations (2006-2008); walking-tour London – Berlin and resulting works; »Walking-tour with sheep over the Alps«, project and resulting works; combined in: »Eine Installation für St. Emma« (2005).
