Sandra Pravica studied philosophy at the Freie Universität Berlin as well as gender studies and political science at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. In 2007 she graduated with a Magister Artium in philosophy. She also completed an education as certified fashion designer.

Sandra Pravica is currently working on her PhD project Versuchsweise Überschreitung. Gaston Bachelards tentative Wissenschaftsphilosophie (Transgression on tryout. Gaston Bachelard’s tentative philosophy of science) at the Freie Universität Berlin. From 2007 to 2012 she was a graduate student at the Max-Planck-Institut für Wissenschaftsgeschichte in Berlin; from october 2008 until January 2009 she was a resident at the Institut d’histoire et de philosophie des sciences et des techniques (Univ. Paris 1) in Paris in the context of a thèse cotutelle. Besides her studies she ist a freelance web conceptualizer.
