Sandrine Peney studied economic sciences at the University of Nancy.

Her research interests cover the notion of events in econometric models applied to finance, and to individual behaviour.

She is an assistant professor in the Department of Finance and Strategy Department at the ICN Business School in Nancy. Sandrine Peney is also special option leader for audit and finance, and ARTEM workshop leader for financial modeling.

In addition to her teaching activities, she has acted as a consultant on a number of cultural projects, notably by helping the project leaders to draw up their business plans.
