Sofija Milić is a choreographer, performer, and founder of L!CK Dance Theatre. She trained at the New Zealand School of Dance in Wellington, New Zealand, earning qualifications in dance and dance performance (2021–2023), and with the SUB.LAB.PRO Ensemble in Budapest, Hungary (2024–2025).

Working at the intersection of contemporary dance and physical theatre, Milić develops works that explore embodied psychology, social critique, and moral tensions. Her choreographic works include Lick Off My Tears, Death Is Also Dying (New Zealand Fringe Festival, Wellington, 2024), A Snake In My Brain (SUB.LAB.PRO, Budapest, 2025), 1,2,3 GO! (dancEUA / Creative Europe, 2025), and Life in Beta (dancEUA / Creative Europe, 2026).

As a performer, she has appeared in Fool’s Gold (Trafó Theatre, Budapest, 2025), My High is Dance (Sziget Festival, Budapest, 2025), DŌJŌ (Trafó Theatre, Budapest, 2024), and After Bura (Trafó Theatre, Budapest, 2024), among others.

In recent years, Milić has received scholarships and funding from the Todd Trust, Peacocke Dance Trust, and Wellington City Council. L!CK Dance Theatre received the Most Promising Emerging Company Award at the 2024 New Zealand Fringe Festival.

In 2026, Sofija Milić is a fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude as part of the Solitude Exchange Network, in cooperation with STATION Service for Contemporary Dance in Serbia.
