Theodore Wheeler received his bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2005, and a master’s degree in English from Creighton University in 2008.

His fiction is regularly published in respected literary journals, such as Best New American Voices 2009, The Kenyon Review, Boulevard, The Cincinnati Review, and Confrontation, among others. He has been awarded fellowships at Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, Key West Literary Seminar, Wesleyan Writers Conference, and Port Townsend Writers Conference. Furthermore his novel-in-progress The Uninitiated recently won the Tarcher/Penguin Top Artist Writing Contest.

Theodore Wheeler works as a legal reporter covering the civil courts of Nebraska/USA, and lives in Omaha, NE/USA, with his wife and two daughters.
