Born 1991 in Sofia/Bulgaria.
Tsvetomira Borisova lives and works in Sofia/Bulgaria. She holds a BA in Ceramics from the New Bulgarian University in Sofia (2016). Working primarily with ceramics, drawing, and text, she is a visual artist whose practice explores the relations between individuals and their environments, focusing on themes of alienation, escapism, and intimacy.
Recent projects include the solo exhibition A Hot Day, Lo3eto, Vetren Dol/Bulgaria (2026), the group exhibition Lignes de Désir, CAIRN – Centre d’Art, Digne-les-Bains/France (2025), and the project The Perspirationalists, presented at Sofia City Art Gallery (2024). In 2025, she was an artist-in-residence at Residency Unlimited in New York, NY/USA, and later the same year took part in the sculpture residency program of Résidences Rocabella in Le Pradet/France.
In 2024, Borisova received the Bulgarian Young Visual Artists Award (BAZA) for The Perspirationalists.
