Ute Wassermann

Born 1960 in Gunzenhausen; Studies of ethnology (1980/81), and visual arts (1981-1989) in Hamburg, training to be a flutist and singer. Since 1984 invention of new techniques to use the own voice; colloberation in different theatre productions.

Grants: Stipendien: grant of the “Deutsch-Französisches Jugendwerk” (1987); grant of the DAAD to spend a year at the University of California, San Diego (1989/90); since 1997 regulary artist-in-residence, STEIM, Amsterdam.
