Born 1972 in Tarnów/Poland.

Studied some semesters of architecture at the Technical Uni-versity in Cracow before studying painting at the Academy of Fine Arts.

He is active as a painter, film maker, photographer and cartoonist.

Wilhelm Sasnal will collaborate with other Polish artists on the exhibition project »A Need of Realism. Solitude in Ujazdowski«, a presentation of Solitude artists in Warsaw between October and December 2002. The exhibition is a cooperation of the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle (Warsaw) and the Akademie Schloss Solitude.

Wilhelm Sasnal is a participant of the exchange program between Akademie Schloss Solitude and the Center for Contemporary Art, Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw.
