Born 1977 in Lübeck/Germany.
Yasemin Ergin works as freelance journalist and film author. She produces TV reports for the German channels ARD, NDR and Arte and is co editor of zenith – Zeitschrift für den Orient, a magazine about politics, society and culture of the Middle East. Furthermore, she regularly writes for the German newspaper FAZ.
Together with Marcel Mettelsiefen she received the Gabriel-Grüner-Stipendium of Zeitenspiegel Reportagen that includes a two-month residency at Akademie Schloss Solitude.
