On Sunday, June 21, 2015, 11 a.m., ±12 VC Junges Celloensemble Tübingen plays the second concert of the series in the barn of Akademie Schloss Solitude in the context of the Schlössertag Baden–Württemberg.

The cello ensemble ±12 VC consisting of talented students of the Tübinger Celloklasse of Joseph Hasten in the ages between 13 and 20 years has proven itself since its founding in 2001 on numerous concerts in– and outside of Germany with pieces from all eras, ranging from baroque to new music. The cellist’s repertoire includes classics for cello ensembles as well as pieces that are specifically composed for them.

The cellists from Tübingen offer an excellent program and have been awarded repeatedly with the first place in the German competition »Jugend musiziert«. This was followed by concert invitations to the Landesvertretung Baden-Württemberg in Berlin, the German embassy in Paris/France, and renowned events such as documenta in Kassel/Germany or the Kölner Musiknacht, Cologne/Germany.
