Film night »Stimmungsschwankungen (Skalient)«

Myriam Van Imschoot and Marcus Bergner work collaboratively in different constellations and manifestations within the fields of sound poetry, vocal performance and film.

They will present their latest films, the first one Yodel Portrait Phil Minton by Myriam Van Imschoot, brings the British singer Phil Minton before the lens. A living legend who has expanded the range of vocal performance. Minton pays tribute to several of his voice-inspirators in recollections, mesostic poems and live performance.

Attunement Film by Marcus Bergner is a voice driven experimental film combining abstract or errant footage and sounds from Naples, Brussels and Stuttgart.

Both films were researched and filmed in part within various locations in and around Akademie Schloss Solitude and have been realized with the friendly support of MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg.
