Duration: June 7, 2015

Based on her new theatertext »UN-ENTITLED«, Deborah Asiimwe develops together with Mireya Arauzo Ruiz and members of the JES-Ensemble, a FreiSpiel on topics like home and alien, growing up and becoming an adult, role models and expectations.

Coming from different native countries, cultures and different paths of life, the artists also wondered how a play could be transferred from one continent to the other. The project »UN-ENTITLED« therefore also deals with the questions of how to display foreign life environments, how to meet them and where links for the audience in Stuttgart could be found.

In which ways do the questions we ask ourselves while growing up differ? Do they differ at all? And what role does language play in this process?

The team around Deborah Asiimwe will artistically work with these questions and challenges during the two-week rehearsals.

A co-production of the Junge Ensemble Stuttgart and Akademie Schloss Solitude.
