Angelina Polonskaja will read extracts of her novella cycle Grönland that was published in Edition Solitude in 2016. She has already published eight poetry collections, Grönland is her first short prose work. Similar to her poetry she uses a figurative language that is able to call things as they are. The texts were partly written during her time as a fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude in 2014/2015. The reading will be presented by Erich Ahrndt, Barbara Stoll will read the German translation. Angelina Polonskaja is a member of the Russian PEN Club and received numerous awards and fellowships.
