Reading with Alice Miller at the book fair in Leipzig

In conjunction with Leipzig liest a reading with the New Zealand poet Alice Miller will take place at 5 pm at Halle 14 on March 25, 2017.

The poet Alice Miller presents her volume of poems Blaue Stunde, which was published in 2016 by Edition Solitude. Born 1982 in Wellington, New Zealand, Alice Miller studied literature at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand and the University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop, USA. She writes poems, plays, essays and fiction. Her work has been published in numerous magazines and awarded prizes such as the BNZ Katherine Mansfield Award and the Royal Society of NZ Manhire Prize. In 2014 her first volume of poems, The Limits, was published in New Zealand (Auckland University Press) and Great Britain (Shearsman Books).

Alice Miller was a fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude in 2015/2016. Blaue Stunde provides a selection of her poems as well as an exchange of letters between her and the Pakistani author Bilal Tanweer translated into German by Nicolai Kobus.
