In the second edition of »Solitude at the Literaturhaus«, current fellows of Akademie Schloss Solitude present literary and text-based artistic works that transform the written word into new medial, spatial, and poetic forms.
The Palestinian artist and architect Hiba G. Isleem presents Numbers and Squares – an interactive installation that brings together archive, animation, and language.
Hanieh Fatouraee, artist and architect, works with spatial knowledge systems, deconstructs dominant narratives, and uses poetic strategies for critical reflection.
The South African author Sibongakonke Mama reads poems on history, body, and society. Her work addresses Black experience, linguistic boundaries, and belonging, inspired by Kevin Quashie’s concept of stillness.
An evening for everyone who wants to experience literature in new ways – between language, space, and image.
A cooperation between Akademie Schloss Solitude and Literaturhaus Stuttgart.
