Quartett Solitude
The new concert series »Solitude-Konzerte in der Scheune – junge Interpreten spielen Kammermusik« [»Solitude Concerts in the Barn – young musicians perform chamber music«] kicks off on June 27. Here, Akademie focuses on a classical repertoire and offers a new presentation platform to young performers from Baden-Württemberg. The series is the result of cooperation with the Rudolf-Eberle Foundation, which promotes young string players from Baden-Württemberg. The four concerts planned for this year will be performed by students from the State University for Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart (June 27), University for Music Freiburg (July 18), Rudolf-Eberle Foundation fellows (September 26) and young Stuttgart-based performers (October 17).
The opening concert’s program features piano quartets by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Johannes Brahms. Performers are students from the State University for Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart: the Solitude Quartet (Meike-Lu Schneider, violin; Christoph Klein, viola; Anna-Lena Perenthaler, cello; Kerstin Mörk, piano).
