Maxi Obexer has been nominated for the Ingeborg-Bachmann-Preis
Maxi Obexer, former literature fellow (2003/2004) and juror for literature (2013–2015) has been nominated for the renowned Bachmann-Preis, which will be awarded for the 41st time on July 9, 2017 in Klagenfurt/Austria.
Fourteen authors have been nominated in total. The prize has been founded by the City of Klagenfurt in 1976 in remembrance of Ingeborg Bachmann. It is one of the most prestigious awards for German literature.
