Ana Dubljević is a performer and author in the field of contemporary dance, performance and choreography. She graduated from College of Fine and Applied Arts in Belgrade. Her educational and artistic development in the field of contemporary dance and choreography was realized in the 2000s through various European non-institutional platforms, such as the non-profit organization danceWEB and the Nomad Dance Academy. Since 2007, she is an active member of the initiative Station – Service for contemporary dance in Belgrade.

As a performer, she worked with many eminent choreographers and theater directors from Serbia and the Balkan region. In 2009, she began making her own work. To this day, she continued researching, creating through various dance networks, such as DNA, APAP etc. and presenting her work in different contexts like Mousonturm Kunstlerhaus, Weld, Buda or Kondenz Festival. The dance performance Only mine alone, made in collaboration with Igor Koruga in 2016, was part of the main program of the prestigious 50th Bitef Festival in Belgrade.
In 2016, Ana was a guest student at Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Arts at the MA Dramaturgy of Performance, with Prof. Sergej Goran Pristaš. She is currently close to finishing the MA Choreography and Performance at the Institut for Applied Theatre Studies in Giessen/Germany, with Prof. Dr. Bojana Kunst.

In 2019, Ana Dubljević collaborates on creating a performing arts conference in Zagreb, she is a movement director in a theater production in Slovenia, will work as an outside eye for a dance piece in Paris and will do research for her new dance piece in residency at Akademie Schloss Solitude.
