Born 1977 in Zagreb/Croatia.

Ana Husman studied multimedia and art education at the Academy of Fine Arts Zagreb and graduated in 2002. She is the co-founder and coordinator of the education program at Restart, Hrvatska/Croatia, an organization focused on production, education, distribution, in making socially involved videos and documentary films. Currently, she works as a lecturer at the department of animated film and new media at the Academy of Fine Arts Zagreb.

In the past years she has attended a number of Croatian and International festivals and shows, such as A table! -Representation of Food and Meal in Art, Mie Prefectural Art Museum, Tokyo/Japan (2014), Tireless Refrain, Nam June Paik Art Center, South Korea (2013), The 9th Gwangju Biennale 2012, Gwangju/South Korea (2012), GOOD LIFE the 53rd October Salon, Belgrade/Serbia (2012), 25 FPS Festival, Zagreb (2011), On the Eastern Front. Video Art from Central and Eastern Europe 1989–2009, Ludwig Múzeum of Contemporary Art, Budapest/Hungary (2010), International Film Festival Rotterdam, Netherlands (2009) and at the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film – DOK, Germany (2006).

She was a resident at XXVIe Ateliers Internationaux at Frac des Pays de la Loire, Nantes/France in 2012.
