Axel Rudebeck

Born 1978 in Boden/Sweden.

Axel Rudebeck is active as composer and laptop musician. He has studied composition at the Academy of Music and Drama Gothenburg with Ole Lützow-Holm as main teacher. He received his master degree in composition in May 2009. Prior to that he was studying composition at Gotlands School of Composition in Visby, Sweden.

Axel works with both composed and improvised music. He has a laptop duo and an ongoing project with a dancer. He appreciates co-operating with artists from other fields and has among others worked with the Norwegian poet Kristin Berget and the German artist Birgit Ramsauer.

He has played and been played at festivals and concerts in Sweden and abroad, i.g. Nya Perspektiv and GEIGER-festival 2008.
