Born 1976 in Budapest.

Bálint Harcos studied Hungarian language and literature at the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest from 1994-2000.

He has worked as an editor of the literary periodical Sárkányfü from 1999-2000, as the series editor for publications of the József Attila Circle from 2000-2002 and as a contributing editor to the publishing houses Palatinus and Àrkád from 2001-2002.

His poetry has been published in numerous Hungarian journals and publications. In 2002 his poetry volume Harcos Bálint Összes (Collected Work of Bálint Harcos. Poems) was published with Palatinus, Budapest.

Bálint Harcos is a participant in the writers exchange program between Akademie Schloss Solitude and the József Attila Circle and Collegium Budapest, Hungary.
