Christine Meisner

Born 1970 in Nürnberg.

Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts (Akademie der bildenden Künste) in Vienna.

She works as a visual artist on interdisciplinary projects with architectural, sociological and historical research.

Recent projects and exhibitions include: “The Gamekeeper” (video installation, publication, Vienna/Nürnberg, 1998), “under siege” (video installation, Dresden, 1999), “Homeworks: Housing Replacements” (performative video installation, Vienna, 1999), “Kampfzone” (group exhibition, Vienna, 2000) “Kulissenweltreport 1-3” (theory and exhibition project “Fern”, Berlin, 2000).

Currently working on “African matters – remapping”.
