Born 1970 in Basel/Switzerland.

1995 she finished her apprenticeship as a goldsmith at the Atelier Eugen Lang in Basel. Diploma in jewelry and object design from the Hochschule (Technical College) in Pforzheim.

As a goldsmith she took part in various international projects such as: “Schweizer Schmuck im 20. Jahrhundert” (“Swiss jewelry in the 20. Century”, Schweizerisches Landesmuseum Zürich, 2002/03), “extrakt” (Junge Schmuckdesigner Deutschland, Bauhaus Archiv, Berlin, 2002), “Intercontinental clothing and other true stories” (cooperation between Tracy Hetherington, the Anna Leonowens Gallery, Halifax and the Galerie Brötzinger Art, Pforzheim, 2001/02) and “Corporate Identity – Körpersprache” (9. triennale für Form und Inhalte, Museum für angewandte Kunst, Frankfurt und Museum of Art & Design, New York, 2003/04).

1998-2002 she was awarded a fellowship from the E. E. Zunft zu Hausgenossen Basel, in 2001 she received the prize “Talente” at the Crafts Fair (Handwerkmesse) in Munich.
