Born 1965 in Stuttgart.

Studied violin with S. Lautenbacher and composition with H. Lachenmann, E. Karkoschka at the Musikhochschule (MHS) and at the MHS Frankfurt.

Selected performances of his compositions: International Summer Courses for New Music in Darmstadt (1998) and Donaueschinger Music Days (1998).

Selected prizes from the composition festivals: City of Stuttgart (1995), Tonkünstlerfest Baden-Württemberg and the City of Saarbrücken (1999). Recent compositions: „Profluvium” and „Fusion” (for small ensemble) and „Babylon” (for orchestra). 1995/1996 Villa Massimo scholarship in Rome.
