Geumhyung Jeong is a choreographer, dancer and performer. She constantly renegotiates the relationship between the human body and the objects which surround it. She uses plain everyday objects upon which she bestows a bizarre, disconcerting life through an intense and risky interaction with her own body. Her projects combine dance and puppetry, as well as bringing attention to technical aspects of theatre.

Her works have been presented by Zürcher Theater Spektakel, Zurich/Switzerland, Malta Festival, Poznań/Poland, Brigittines International Festival, Brussels/Belgium, SPIEL ART Festival, Munich/Germany, ImpulsTanz Festival, Vienna/Austria, iDans Festival, Istanbul/Turkey, Contemporary Art Museum of Ujazdowski, Warsaw/Poland, Württembergischer Kunstverein, Stuttgart/Germany, PACT Zollverein, Essen/Germany and many others.
