Judith Engel

Born 1987 in Constance/Germany.

Judith Engel studied art education and English language and literature in Stuttgart/Germany. Amongst the realization of own artistic projects, she regularly writes for magazines such as Theater heute, taz, and Stuttgarter Nachrichten as well as for blogs critical of contemporary culture on the topics of theater and performance since 2013.

In July 2015 she attended the Stage@Play Symposium at Theater Rampe, Stuttgart as a guest blogger.

In 2013 she was a fellow for young journalists at the festival magazine of the Internationale Schillertage in Mannheim/Germany. Receiving a fellowship for young arts journalism she was invited for the blog of the Theatertreffen in Berlin/Germany in 2015, as well as for the international festival PREMIÈRES for young European directors in Karlsruhe/Germany.
