Studied at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart and at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York (Studio Program).

1993-94 Recipient of a scholarship from the Akademie Schloß Solitude.

1997-98 Micha Ullman Substitute Professorship at the Kunstakademie Stuttgart
