Katharina Bendixen

Born 1981 in Leipzig/Germany.

Katharina Bendixen studied Hispanic studies and book studies in Leipzig and Alicante/Spain.
A collection of her short stories Der Whiskyflaschenbaum (The Whiskey Bottle Tree) was published in 2009 by poetenladen. In 2008, she received the erostepost-Literaturpreis and one year later she received a fellowship of the Foundation Künstlerdorf Schöppingen as well as a fellowship of the Kulturstiftung des Freistaates Sachsen.

Katharina Bendixen works as an author, translator, and editor for the journal poet.
