Born 1979 in Rio de Janeiro.

She graduated with a degree in Portuguese and Brazilian literature at the State University of Rio de Janeiro. Additional studies of theater theory and art history. She worked as a writer assistant at a TV station in Brazil and was involved in the production of videos and installations for several group exhibitions.

Selected projects: “Rocha que voa” (translation of Glauber Rocha’s interviews during his stay at Havanna, 2002), “Insones” (collection of poems, 2002). Currently she is working on a short movie “Diário de Sertão” at the Studio National des Arts Contemporains in Le Fresnoy (France).

Her video “Campo Geral” was awarded the Nova Fronteira prize for the best free adaptation of the work of Guimarães Rosa (Belo Horizonte, 2001).
