Lisa Schreiber studied cultural sciences at the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) and media culture at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.

Between 2003 and 2006 she worked for various art projects, for instance, the exhibition Isst du gerade meinen Tofu? (Are you eating my Tofu?) at the Backfabrik, Berlin or the Galerie Berliner Kunstprojekt. In the years 2005 and 2006 she gained professional experience as freelance editor for Kulturaustausch – Zeitschrift für internationale Perspektiven (Cultural Exchange – Journal for International Perspectives) of the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations, ifa). Until recently, between 2008 and 2011, she worked as graduate assistant at the chair for History and Theory of Artificial Worlds and furthermore in 2011 at the chair for History of Media – Media of History of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.

In 2010, Lisa Schreiber received a scholarship from the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
