Marlène Perronet received her Master’s degree in French literature in 2004 from the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3 and a DNSEP (Master of Arts) in 2006 from l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Paris Cergy/France. In 2009, she took part in the 18th session of l’École du Magasin, Grenoble/France and in 2010, in the Summer Seminars for Art Curators (AICA), Yerevan/Armenia.
She coordinated the French participation in the Shiryaevo Biennale (2007–2009), Shiryaevo/Russia. In 2010, she initiated and coordinated Action Planning, a cycle of events and exhibitions of video-projections in France and Russia. She recently joined the network and residency fugitif based in Leipzig, where she has been curating several events since 2011, such as Dein Klon, with Oberwelt e.V. (Sublab e.V.) and To. Counter. Proof (Stuttgarter Kunstverein e.V.). In 2012, she coordinated and co-curated In Our Backyards, a project between United Residencies (Network of artists’ residencies in Leipzig) and the Akademie Schloss Solitude.

Marlène Perronet is an art coordination fellow from December 2012 to December 2013. Her fellowship is supported by the Institut Français, the Ministère des Affaires Etrangères and the Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication of France.
