Martin Maurer

Born 1975 in Saarlouis/Germany.

Studies in communication design at the Merz Akademie Hochschule für Gestaltung Stuttgart and Master of Arts in European Media at the University of Portsmouth.

Since 1999 he works as a freelance communication designer and programmer in Stuttgart, San Francisco and Hong Kong.

Selected projects: “3 Originals / 72dpi” (2006), “China is not a Restaurant” (2006), “Time to Space” (2002) and “Cybersidewalk” (2003).

2000 he received the ID Magazine Interactive Silver Award. From 2003 to 2006 he was a co-researcher of the IAT (Institut für Allgemeine Theorie; Institute of General Theory) together with Hagen Betzwieser and Goran Zivadinovic.
