Born 1967 in Teheran.

Graduation from Alame tabataba’e University in Teheran in 1990. Studies in Arabic literature, acting and directing at the private theater school Qanune teather banovan in Teheran. Until 1994 studies in acting and directing at Azad University, Teheran.

Works as an actor and director for different theaters, is a member of a contemporary theater group and of the Iran Theater House (artists association). Since 1998 she has worked with different theater projects and festivals in Iran, Germany, Sweden, Russia and Belgium, amongst others: “haunting forbidden” (acting, 1998), Minsk Belarus Festival (1999), “nameless Maria” (directing, 2000), “The house of Bernarda Alba” (acting, 2001), Theater an der Ruhr Festival (2001), “Medea” (directing, 2002), Malmö Festival (2002), “Unwritten whispers” (directing, 2003) and Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin (2004).

She was distinguished as best actress for “haunting forbidden” at the 17th International Theater Festival Fajr (1999) and was awarded with the Gordana-Kosanovic-Prize at the Theater an der Ruhr Festival (2001).
