Neto Machado

Born 1985 in Curitiba/Brazil.

Neto Machado is a performance artist from Curitiba. Since 2004, he has been creating and performing his own work, among others Solution for all the Problems of the World (2007); Infiltrations (2009); Now is Shown what is not Here (2004); and Mood (2010). His last project is KODAK, a solo piece premiered 2011 in São Paulo/Brazil.

Furthermore, he works on projects by Thiago Granato, Jorge Alencar, Cândida Monte, Xavier Le Roy, and Jan Ritsema. Neto Machado was part of the project ex.e.r.ce08/6months1location, which was first performed in 2008 at the Centre Chorégraphique National Montpellier, Montpellier/France. He is a member of Cauliflower Mini Worldwide Artistic Community, an artistic collective that supports the work of independent artists by building up a residency and event program. The project is financed by Petrobras BR, a Brazilian multinational energy corporation.
