Born 1969 in Ludwigsburg.

Studied art history from 1989-1995 and empirical cultural sciences from 1998-2002 with a Ph.D. dissertation on “Bewohnte Mythen. Joseph Beuys und der Aberglaube” (Lived Myths: Joseph Beuys and Superstition), both in Tübingen.

Besides working for various art institutions from 1990-1997, including the Deichtorhallen, Kunstsammlung Daimler Benz, and the Württembergisches Landesmuseum Stuttgart, she worked at Sotheby’s in London from 1995-1996. 1997-1999 she was the managing director of Freunde der Hebräischen Universität in Baden-Württemberg e.V. (Friends of the Hebrew University in Baden-Württemberg). 2002-2004 she worked as a trainee (Volontärin) at the Staatlichen Kunsthalle Baden-Baden.

As a fellow for art coordination at Akademie Schloss Solitude, Nicole Fritz will coordinate the presentations in the project space Römerstraße, the Summer Academy 2005 as well as curate an exhibition on Memory for the art, science & business program.
