Nina Støttrup Larsen is a Danish design researcher based in Amsterdam/Netherlands. She received a bachelor’s degree in design from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and completed a two-year design research fellowship at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht/Netherlands.

Her work uses artistic strategies and design research as a tool to plot out global power structures in relation to economy, legal infrastructures, geopolitics, and the so called post colonial present. The aim of the work is to make visible the disproportionate concentrations of capital and political, historical power structures. The work consists of printed matter, events, information design, performance, texts, editing, drawings, video, and installations. Collaborators and commissioners include Urban Scenographies, Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam, The Floating Outfit Project, Hebbel Am Ufer, Sonic Acts Festival, Sitra, GRAPHIC Magazine, and De Groene Amsterdammer.

She is part of the design research collective Bitcaves and teaches at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts in Arnhem/Netherlands and has advised at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague/Netherlands.
