Born 1982 in Strasbourg/France.

Olav Lervik is a french composer, who first studied composition with Prof. Obst and opera correpetition with Prof. Vogel in Weimar where he graduated with distinction. Beyond that he joined the master class of Prof. Jarrel in Geneva 2006. Since April 2009 he continues his studies at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart with Prof. Stroppa.

His works have been performed by Klangforum Wien, members of Ensemble Recherche, Ensemble Vortext, the Minguet-Quartett, Ensemble Contrechamps and the German Radio Philharmonics Saarbrücken-Kaiserslautern.

Selected works: »Mosaique« (2009) for orchestra; »Zwei Liebeslieder« (2006) for soprano and piano and »Kaltes expressivo« (2006) for clarinet and cello.
