Olivier Jonvaux

Olivier Jonvaux is a French artist and a graduate of ENSBA Lyon, France and Le Fresnoy i in Tourcoing/France. He follows the lives of ordinary objects, from making to decay, across sculpture, drawing, 3D imaging and film, displacing them to unsettle what counts as an artwork. He has shown at Palais de Tokyo, Japan; LaM; CEAAC in Strasbourg/France and Basis Frankfurt, Germany. He was awarded the ADAGP Research and Photographic Grant (in 2023 and 2025), Ateliers Médicis, Création en cours (2025), DRAC Île-de-France Grant (2016 and 2022) and Prix des Ateliers d’Art (2020, Grand Palais) among others.
