Born 1966 in Alaska.

Reynold Reynolds studied physics at the University of Colorado (BA 1991) and photography at New York’s School of Visual Arts (MFA 1995). He works as an artist in New York City and in Berlin.

Reynolds has shown his work at numerous exhibitions and festivals in Europe and the USA. In 2009, he participated in the Transmediale at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin. In spring 2009, basis e.V. in Frankfurt showed six films by Reynolds in a retrospective. In the Nassauischer Kunstverein in Wiesbaden, his solo exhibition »Burn« was on view in May and June 2009. Reynolds took part in the Sundance film festival in Utah in 1999, 2000, 2002, 2005 and 2009.

He has received several grants and fellowships, among others in 2004 a prize of the American Academy in Berlin, combined with a studio at Künstlerhaus Bethanien for one year, as well as the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship in 2003.
