Born in 1958 in Schaesberg, Netherlands. Visual artist, “anti-sculptor”, photographer and gallerist.

Numerous grants, including: artists residence Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin 1991; project grant cultural office Dresden 1991 und 1993; art foundation Kunstfonds Bonn 1994; Art foundation of Saxony 1995; Berlin Senate 1995; Deutsche Bahn, Stuttgart 1996; Siemens, Munich 1996; project grants Tilburg 1997 und 1998.

Awards: Karl Hofer Prize of the Berlin University of the Arts 1993; 1st prize for best design at International Books Fair, Frankfurt 1994 (for catalog “Camera silens”) and 1995 (for catalog “Buna 4”).
