Born 1968 in Radeberg.

Studies of conducting and piano in Dresden; attending masterclasses by John Elliott Gardiner, Sylvain Cambreling and Peter Eötvös.

Debut in 1991 at the Dredner Musikfestspiele with “Hochzeit des Figaro”; since 1993 constant conductor of the “Kammerensemble Neue Musik Berlin” (KNM). Since 1995 concerts with different orchestras such as KNM, Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, Berliner Sinfonieorchester, Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, Ensemble Resonanz); 1999 Debut with the Radio Symphonic Orchestras of Berlin and Cologne; 2000 assistent of the musical director of the Staatstheater Stuttgart with an obligation to conduct.
