Born 1970 in Vendôme/France.

Saâdane Afif lives and works as a conceptual and installation artist in Berlin/Germany.
In 1995 he received his diploma at the École nationale supérieure d’art de Bourges/France and in 1998 his master’s degree at the École supérieure des beaux-arts de Nantes/France. His interdisciplinary and intermedial work deals with the practices of interpretation, exchange and duplication. He often cooperates with other artists, e.g. with authors and composers.

Saâdane Afif received various awards, amongst others the price of the Günther-Peill-Stiftung, Düren/Germany, the ART AND THE CITY AWARD, Zurich (2012) and the Prix Marcel Duchamp (2009).
