Performance artist, dancer, poet and mathematician. Born in 1988, Israel. Based in Tel Aviv.

Savyon constructs conditions for humanity to appear, through multi-layered qualities. Her work ranges between the real and the virtual, the fixed and the incidental, the physical and the literal – performed and exhibited in galleries, festivals, museums, and alternative night venues. Her works include Passover Seder – Artist’s Cut, a visual theater as performative dinner (The Red House 2018), the exhibition Over My Dead Body in collaboration with Hadar Mitz (Hanina Gallery 2017), Is The Artist Present?, an ongoing digital performative act (Art Space gallery 2017), The Assumptions, practice (Binyamin Gallery 2016), Self Simulation choreography (Print Screen Festival 2016) and many more.

In addition to her own artistic research, Savyon collaborates with choreographers as a dancer, edits and conducts poetry evenings, works as an artistic consultant and teaches probability at Tel Aviv University and at The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo.

In 2017, she won the Danceweb scholarship program in the frame of Impulstanz Festival, Vienna/Austria, and Mifal HaPais Council for the Culture and Arts support for education programs abroad. In 2016, she studied at Kelim Choreography Center. In 2014, she graduated with honors her studies at exact sciences faculty and the faculty of social sciences at Tel Aviv University. In 2006, she studied in Vertigo International Dance Program, Jerusalem. In 2005, she graduated at the School of Arts and won the Ministry of Education award for an »Outstanding Student«. In 2006, she received the »Outstanding Dancer« status, given by the Israel ministry of science, culture and sports.
