Born 1978 in Domont/France.

In 1999, Thomas Pausz received his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the Université Paris X, Paris/France. Afterwards he graduated from the Royal College of Art in London, London/UK and received his master degree in product design. Thomas Pausz was a visiting lecturer in design at the Central School of Speech and Drama and at Middlesex University in London. Furthermore, he worked as a set designer for contemporary stage productions and films.

His realized projects include: Dominos Tables Series, interactive furniture in production, Berlin, in cooperation with label neue tische berlin (2010–2011); Design For Gleaners, Design March Reykjavik/Iceland (2010); Social Soap/Paris Suburbs. Mobile soap factory and documentary, exhibited at the RCA Show in London (2009). In 2004, Thomas Pausz received the Ray Finnis Trust Award. Currently, he is working as a freelance designer and as design consultant.
