Timothy McCormack

Born 1984 in Cleveland/USA.

Timothy McCormack is a composer currently based in Huddersfield, UK and Chicago, IL.

Through tablature and hybrid notations, McCormack’s music dissects and autonomizes the modes of sound production and the physical relationship between performer and instrument, to create a complex, destabilized, and ever-changing aural terrain. McCormack already composed for a numerous of performances of different interprets like the ELISION Ensemble, the Jack Quartet, the Formalist Quartet, Andrew McIntosh, Steve Menotti and others.
